As Ruth's Reusable Resources enters our sixteenth year of servicing Maine schools and non-profits, we want to inform you our commitment to ensuring that students and classrooms in Maine have the basic tools for learning has not changed. In a time when the world faces economic challenges, it is imperative that we continue to grow and succeed in this effort. Ruth's Reusable Resources (3R's) is a great way to leverage the supply, furniture, and equipment budgets for our schools and organizations. Hundreds of dollars invested in membership fees pay off in thousands (and often tens of thousands) of dollars worth of supplies for our members. We know that one of our greatest resources is reusing and recycling product for which others no longer have a need -this is what Ruth's Reusable Resources does best.
Now our challenge to you - take a moment to remember a “favorite” teacher, someone that truly makes or has made a difference in your life or the life of your child. Please make a donation to Ruth Reusable Resources in that teacher's Memory/Honor. There is no greater gift to a teacher than that of honoring the work that they have done. These teachers change lives and Ruth's Reusable Resources, with your help, is here to partner with those teachers to ensure lives continue to be changed. All teachers will be members of “Ruth's Honor Roll” and posted for shoppers to view. On Friday, April 30, 2010
we will be celebrate these teachers at an event to kick off Teacher Appreciation Week and all donors will be given invitations to join this celebration/fundraiser.
