Jaime Tardif
Hello! I am the School Social Worker at Great Falls Elementary School. This is my fourth year
working as a School Social Worker for Gorham Schools and I love my job! I've been incredibly
well-received by the community and thank you all for your warm reception.
Prior to working for Gorham Schools, I was employed for over nine years at Opportunity Farm for
Boys & Girls serving in the capacity of Clinical Social Worker & Enrollment Coordinator for
the program. Impacting change & encouraging positive growth with children & adolescents
experiencing a multitude of life challenges was extremely gratifying work. While I remember those
years with fond memories, I'm excited to have returned to my "roots" working with younger
children! They're all so eager to learn and full of hope, glee, & wonderment!
I am a Maine native, having earned my BS degree in Child Development & Family Studies from the
University of Maine and my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of New England.
Much like a school counselor, I too, provide a variety of services to the students, teachers, &
families of Great Falls. Whether it is individual or group work, Cafe Chats or Behavior Skill
Builder Clinics, and RTI or Special Education, I help support & promote the emotional &
social development of our students.
